Locally: Working in concert with several community organizations and towns, MCED has developed a county wide strategic plan for community and economic development. We have aligned our plan with the state and other regional organizations to provide incentives and strategies to assist all community and business stakeholders in Montgomery County. Partnerships: Partnering with the state
and region on business attraction makes good sense, as it
allows MCED to focus our attention on the high caliber businesses
already here. The number one objective of MCED is to provide
support to existing employers through incentives, workforce
development, and infrastructure assistance.
